EUROPE PRAYER INITIATIVE TEAM

WHO WE ARE

The intention of the Europe Prayer Initiative Team (EPIT) is to come alongside you with encouragement, prayer, and resources. The effects of physical and spiritual burnout among missionaries and their families led Regional Director Paul and Angela Trementozzi and the Europe Leadership Team to implement the Europe Prayer Initiative. They prayerfully began a journey to make missionary health—spiritual, emotional, and physical—a priority across the Region.

Angela was asked to form a team that would find preventative medicine for missionaries and partnering national pastors to enhance both their intimacy with the Lord and ministry to others, also minimizing attrition. This intentional soul care for onsite missionaries would help lay a firm foundation for accelerated church planting by means of evangelism.

RETREAT INFORMATION

“When we have been remodeled into the living witnesses of Christ through solitude, silence, and prayer, we will no longer have to worry about whether we are saying the right thing or making the right gesture, because then Christ will make his presence known even when we are not aware of it.”
— Henri Nouwen, The Way of the Heart
