It has been on the hearts of Regional Presbyters of the churches in Germany, as well as in the heart of AGWM personnel, Steve Walent, that the churches be encouraged and helped to connect with their communities and lead people to Christ.

They also need to invest in discipling the people to be followers of Christ. This burden has grown and there was an increased openness evident among the leaders in the German Church Consulting Team of which Steve Walent is a part.
About a year ago, Rev. Ron McManus came and sppoke to the team about the Church Transformation process he is involved with in Assemblies of God churches in the USA. His sharing struck a chord and the team immediately decided to make plans to implement such a process in Germany among the churches. But along with that, the leader of the German consultant team, Peter Riedl and also Steve Walent have been in training with the Church Life model (directed by Dr. Wayne and Sherry Lee) in Europe. They discussed with the Lees about the possibility of doing this same training process among key German pastors starting in 2013. This training model for leaders and churches is showing great success throughout the USA as churches are growing and becoming spiritually healthy.
Walent states, “This is another answer and piece to the puzzle in regards to my heart’s cry for healthy churches in Europe to reach into the darkness and see the lost come home to our heavenly Father as well as to learn to follow our Lord Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit.“
