The International Christian Fellowship in Italy

The arrival of new students in Florence, Italy in September brought a new and larger group to ICF Florence. AGWM personnel, Randy and Diane McGehee who pastor the church explain that they struggled for space on several Sunday mornings. September saw their first water baptismal service which required a lot of inventive planning as they have no place to hold such a service in the Center of Florence. They borrowed a small portable swimming pool and placed it in the front entrance of the Ministry Center. After the main service two individuals were baptized in water in obedience to the Lord. There was a record crowd that morning and it was truly a time of celebration before the Lord.

Ready_for_baptismal_Sunday.jpgThroughout the first week of October, ICF Florence celebrated its first year anniversary.  The Lord has done so much in Florence!  During the anniversary celebration there were special revival services with Michael and Linda Livengood.  The Lord sent a powerful move of His Holy Spirit in the three services which touched and changed the lives of many during that week.

ICF also has a monthly fellowship night at the Ministry Center, sharing times of being family together.   Two of the meetings they set up a Wii system and had bowling tournaments and boxing matches with it. There is also a monthly fellowship on the first Sunday which begins 30 minutes before the service.  Wonderful coffee and Italian pastry treats are served for all to enjoy as they meet new people and fellowship together.  ICF is made up of individuals from nearly 30 nations but they are one body in the God’s family.

In October, Diane McGehee started classes of the ICF Florence School of the Bible.   For this first course there are 3 students that are hungry for the Word of God and who desire to grow in their walk with Him.  These eager students now meet three Thursday nights each month.

Each Wednesday night ICF meets together for a time of praise and worship followed by very focused and powerful prayer.  Every Thursday morning Diane leads a group walking the streets of Florence and praying for the city for several hours.  God is busy working through ICF Florence.
