Beyond Updates: Creating Meaningful Connections with Ministry Partners

How do we keep ministry partners connected—not just informed? In this practical, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore how to build strong, lasting connections with donors through thoughtful and effective communication. You’ll learn how to initiate meaningful connections, keep supporters engaged, and avoid common missteps that can lead to a disconnect that can weaken support and ministry impact. Whether you're writing your next newsletter, preparing for itineration, or just returning to the field, you'll leave better equipped to effectively connect with your ministry partners and promote our collective calling in Europe.

What is resilience? And why does it even matter? This breakout session will look at how to understand and then build resilience in your own life.


Business as Mission – what is it and why does it matter? 

Presenters: Tony Sebastian and Tom Borgeding

What is BAM (Business As Mission)? How can it be used to influence your community and reach both marginalized and secular peoples? Join Tony and Tom through a facilitated conversation where they will answer questions, share resources offered by the Europe region and share creative ideas for how you can incorporate it into your context.


Challenges and Opportunities in the early years of church planting

Presenters: Paul Clark, Mark McKinstry, Gail Vanbriggle, and Dave Goldschmidt

Church planting is not for the faint of heart. It is a powerful way to engage communities with the gospel. Join Paul Clark, a veteran church planter, through a conversation with several of our recent Europe church planters to hear some of the challenges and opportunities they have faced in the first two years of church planting.


Discipleship Issues in a Secular Context

Presenters: Mike Clark, Jackie Cross, Jason Morrison, and Shawn Galyen (moderator)

There are unique obstacles and opportunities in a secular context in moving people into Christian maturity.  We will discuss the foundations, values, and rhythms that affect discipleship and spiritual formation such as the relationship to the Bible, moral choices and life patterns.


Don't Stop Believing: Journey (with Gen Z)

Together, let's become better equipped to mentor and train the coming wave of new Gen Z missionaries! Through discussion and engaging activities, we'll discover key values, common characteristics, and hidden strengths of this unique demographic. We'll also examine practical tools and share ideas how to more effectively accompany, encourage and shape the short-termers and new missionaries that God sends you to work with or lead.


Effective Communication: Preaching to a Secular European Audience

What does it look like practically to preach, teach, and engage effectively with secular Europeans? Through this interactive conversation, you can learn some of the best practices from the field.


Hosting Short Term Teams: Burden or Benefit?

This workshop will help you navigate the practical challenges of hosting short term teams so that the experience is positive for everyone and accelerates local ministry.


Keys to Developing a Church Planting Movement and Missionary Sending National Church

Presenters: Dan Taylor and Kurt & Stephanie Plagenhoef

In this breakout session, we will discuss spiritual principles and practical ways for how we as global workers can help to develop a church planting movement within the national church and how to encourage the national church to become a missionary sending agency, sharing examples from the national church contexts of the Albania Assemblies of God and Portugal Assemblies of God.


Marriage & Ministry: Shoulder to shoulder on the daily 

Panelists: Mark & Paula Boone, John & Brandi Carrano, and Bryan & Misty Elliot 

In this facilitated conversation, you will hear stories from two couples and their experiences, challenges, and lessons they have learned about working as a team with their spouse in ministry.


Media 2 Movement

The OneKingdom team wants to see the Great Commission fulfilled in Europe, together. One of the greatest struggles in realizing that vision is identifying people who are open to the Gospel and spiritual change. Media to Movements (MTM) is a strategic shift that leverages social media for the sake of accelerating seeking and saving the lost. Join us for a facilitated conversation with some of our adult MKs about their perspectives on growing up on the field and still loving Jesus and missions into their adulthood.
