COVID TESTS FOR RETURN TRAVEL

We know that several of you will need to secure PCR or rapid antigen tests in order to return to your resident country after ET. The hotel will be able to make these arrangements for any guests needing such tests. Upon checking in at the hotel you will need to let them know what test you will need and when you will need it. It is important that you know the requirements of your own airline and resident country so that you can get your test scheduled appropriately and so that the group offering the tests can work with you to get your results back in time.

The cost of the tests cannot be charged to the room, as they are done by an independent group. They must be paid on the spot with cash or credit card. However, after ET you can submit your receipt for reimbursement as a (00) work expense.

The prices are as follows:
+ PCR Test: 500 kn or € 67
+ Rapid Test: 70 kn or € 9,50

Note From Paul & Angie

Dear Missionary Colleagues,

It won’t be long until we gather together in Croatia for Europe Together. There were many times over the past year or so where I wondered if we would be able to come together like this. There is a tremendous amount of planning and organizing that goes into this event and this took place even with the uncertainty of what our COVID realities might be.

During the registration process we asked that each of you read the COVID protocol document and be prepared to abide by whatever the Croatian guidelines might look like when we come together. We, as a Leadership Team, wrestled with what our position should be on being vaccinated and what restrictions we needed to put in place as we looked at the bigger picture and responsibility of bringing so many people together. In the end we agreed to simply align ourselves with the policies and guidelines set in place from Croatia, the host country of Europe Together. What they require, we would require. Furthermore, if the hotel had additional restrictions then we would implement these as well.

In the past few days we have seen some remarkable changes. As of May 1st, Croatia has lifted all restrictions and returned to the same entry requirements that were in place pre-COVID-19. There is no proof of vaccination or mandatory quarantine periods required in order to enter Croatia. We are happy to say that we continue our position of following the guidelines of our host country. For this reason, there will be no restrictions put in place for attending Europe Together.

While these restrictions have been lifted for Croatia they have not been lifted throughout Europe. It is still very important that you stay informed of any requirements that may be in effect from your country of residence and/or countries you may visit or pass through on your way to Croatia.

During our time together we believe it is still very important to wash your hands often, be careful of coughing and be aware of how you are interacting with others. We also ask that you follow your own convictions of matters of health regarding your travels.

Angie and I are looking forward to this time together. Please join us in praying for the refreshing presence of the Lord to be experienced in a new way during our days in Croatia.

See you soon!

Paul and Angie
